    Mark Rooks is a 1992 graduate of The Restaurant School in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. While at The Restaurant School, Chef Mark completed the chef training program, which included several culinary arts programs. Chef Mark’s apprenticeship took place in Paris, France, with a return trip in 1998 for additional training at Le Cordon Bleu. Most recently, Chef Mark attended Peter Kump’s New York Cooking School in Manhattan for a sushi workshop. Chef Mark holds a certificate in food service sanitation. He is the proud father of daughters Kendall Rose, Adaline Grace, Everly Grace, Indigo Grace, and son Corson Grey.

    Rent-A-Chef is a unique culinary service that provides an amazing dining experience in the privacy of your own home. Rent-A-Chef caters events of all types and sizes. Whatever your needs may be, our dedicated staff can meet them.

    Every event is personal and unique, thus we will customize a menu just for you. Everything we craft in our kitchen is hand-made. We never use frozen food and pride ourselves in the fact that we make all of our menu items from scratch.

    Rent-A-Chef offers a wide range of additional services and items including but not limited to: bartenders, servers, linen, china, tent, and table rentals. Rent-A-Chef is also more than capable of providing our customers with a variation of professional entertainers as well.

    Some of our specialty events include: baptisms, christenings, bar and bat mitzvahs, reunions, birthday, graduation, and retirement parties. We do not by any means limit ourselves to the above. Our personal consultants will work with you one on one to make your event a success.
